Main Line School Night
Join us for a tour of the recently landmarked Gansevoort Market section of Greenwich Village. View the on-going transformation from Meat Market to a neighborhood of trendy restaurants, chic boutiques, art galleries and luxury housing. Sample the historic and cutting edge architecture. By bus and on foot, view buildings by Richard Meier and Frank Gehry. Stroll through the Chelsea Market, now a collection of gourmet food retailers. Lunch on your own around Sheridan Square in the West Village where you can eat and wander. End the day with a walk on the High Line, the exciting new elevated "ribbon park" along the Hudson River for expansive waterfront vistas plus great views of the neighborhood and beyond. Tour will include a number of exciting interior visits. Moderate walking and a moderate number of stairs.   Bus leaves Radnor Financial Center promptly at 7:30 am.
