Imagine the Possibilities with Michael Petrie
TIME: 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM
Philadelphia International Flower Show award winner, Michael Petrie, has the ability to see the inherent beauty in what is often an outdated utilitarian object; simultaneously re-seeing and then re-using that object in a new and visually startling way. Michael uses found objects to create useful garden art. Thus an old glass doorknob welded to a pipe becomes a hose guard protecting a flower bed, rusty trowels give new life to an abandoned garden gate, and bedsprings intertwine with vines. You'll discover how to look at your space with new eyes and imagine the possibilities!
