Close: A Journey in Scotland  (January 22 – June 5, 2010)
A marvelous exhibit on landscape design in Scotland is running at the US Botanic Garden in Washington DC.
"Drink in the breathtaking beauty of Scotland’s gardens through the lens of photographer Allan Pollok-Morris. His five-year study features the work of more than 30 renowned landscape designers and land artists, including Andy Goldsworthy, Charles Jencks, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Arabella Lennox-Boyd, and Penelope Hobhouse. Pollok-Morris’ photographs are stunning, but clearly the gardens themselves and Scotland are the stars of this exhibit."  US Botanic Gardens
