Temple-Ambler is having another plant sale Thursday May 8th from 1-3pm at the campus greenhouse. They have a fair amount of herbs, vegetables, lots of shrubs, lots of fruit trees and berry plants, a few ornamental/shade trees, and some annuals and perennials - they had a plant sale Saturday 3rd and this is the remaining inventory.

PLANT SALE  300 N. Latch's Lane, Merion  The Plant Sale returns to the Arboretum with a wide variety of perennials, annuals, trees, shrubs, and vines, including plants propagated from the original living collections. Free tours of the Arboretum are scheduled throughout the day. All proceeds benefit the Barnes Arboretum.

 A not-to-be-missed annual event, this is one of the largest public garden plant sales in the area.  Offered will be plants ideally suited for area gardens, including rhododendrons, azaleas, and companion plants not readily available elsewhere.  Thousands of native perennials, wildflowers, ferns, and slow-growing conifers, as well as donated plants from Society members’ gardens will be for sale.
We offer great prices, terrific plant selections AND your gardening questions will be answered by our knowledgeable horticultural staff and expert gardeners.
Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens members may pick up their complimentary “thank you” plants during the sale.
Saturday & Sunday Plant Sale is free of charge.  All are welcome. No pre-registration required.

The best camera is the one you have with you, and if you have an iPhone there is no reason to regret leaving your digital camera at home. Even professional photographers and artists are recognizing the iPhone as a useful photographic tool. Learn how to take stunning nature photographs, pleasing portraits, and get many tips and techniques for great photography with your iPhone. Class includes lecture on traditional subjects such as lighting and composition, the use of a number of photography apps, basic post processing, and field work.
 Acceptable Device Models: iPhone 5S, 5C, 5, 4S, and 4. (New gen iPod touches also welcome.) Required app list provided upon registration. Users without iOS 7 or with older devices may need alternate apps. A general knowledge of how to use your phone and apps is essential!
 Pre-registration required.  Space is limited.   Total cost for both sessions:  $50 members, $60 non-members
